Oral and maxillofacial surgeons have both medical and dental degrees and so combine full surgical training and dental expertise for treatment of diseases, injuries, cancer and deformity of the face and jaws. All the consultants offer a general oral and maxillofacial service but each has special interests and there is a cross-referral to special-interest and combined clinics.
