The new format is 5 full days of 'hands on' experience in a microvascular laboratory at The University of Liverpool including didactic lectures and operative demonstrations of free tissue transfer. Every evening there will be small group teaching on the harvesting and applications of free tissue transfer covering all the more commonly used free flaps. Each participant will be given a copy of the ‘Liverpool’ videos covered during these tutorials. There will also be the option of a half day in the operating theatre to see the practicalities of setting up a patient, a theatre team and a theatre for free flap surgery.

The total fee payable will be £990 and includes a Home Office Personal Licence.
